Newark Paperboard Mills operates 3 plants in Europe. Producing approximately 200,000 tons of 100% recycled paperboard annually, the production is fairly evenly divided between graphicboard sheets, core board grades and laminating grades. All of the core board grade production is sold to tube and core manufacturers (including those in which we have a minority ownership interest). Our converting plants in Spain, The Netherlands, France and Germany consume approximately 53% of our paperboard production, of which approximately 55% is converted into solidboard packaging and the remainder into laminated products and paperboard.

The Newark Paperboard Mills are a critical part of the supply chain to our own businesses, as well as being critical to those companies who use our paperboard in the production of their own products.
